Booking Terms and Conditions : ‘The Challenge’
T&C’s The Challenge
When booking ‘The Challenge’ you must make sure that nobody in your team has completed the room before either ‘actually’ or ‘virtually.’
Any member found to have taken part in solving the room before will mean that ‘The Challenge’ will become void. The team/players can still take part but will not be receiving any money back for completion of the room under the challenge conditions.
The clock must be stopped before it reaches 00:00 and the game completed in its entirety. Including exiting the room if this is so required. The Games Master’s decision is final as to whether the challenge was a success.
For the challenge, clues will have to be asked for directly for us to know that a clue was definitely required. This will be ‘Games Master please give us a clue.’
Any clues given other that via this method will not count.
We will give clues according to where you are. For example, we will not give a first hint if we know you are beyond that, equally if you haven’t started on a particular puzzle but we know that’s where you should be, we will give you the clue to point you in the right direction, not a clue to solve it.
All winning teams of the challenge will be paid their money to one team member, how they receive it will be at the owner’s discretion, this may be cash. If this is something you don’t want, then it would be advised to not select this option of play.
The rooms are totally achievable without hints and certainly with only a few hints.
Gift Vouchers
All gift voucher purchases are non-refundable.
All vouchers are valid for a period of 12 months and games must be played within this 12 month time limit.
We offer a further 6 month extension on gift vouchers for a fee of £20.00 which will validate a gift voucher for 18 months in total from the purchase date. Extensions must be requested in writing and paid for before the extension will be validated.
Gift vouchers have no cash value and Beverley Breakout accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen vouchers.
Gift vouchers must be handed to the reception staff on the day of your event to redeem against your booking. No entry to the games will be permitted without the voucher (except in the case of digital vouchers which are redeemed automatically online when booking).
