Beverley Breakout is a live escape room game located in Beverley - East Yorkshire. You are locked in a room (not really) with friends, family, or work colleagues for a set time. Solve a series of puzzles and mysteries to escape. You will search high and low for clues and work as a team if you are to escape. Using only your brain……no mobile phones necessary.

Yes….. It’s a fantastic experience that you will enjoy if you unlock your full potential. Each room has been carefully designed to ensure maximum enjoyment. If you are looking for a fun activity that is a little different - then look no further.

Well you are never truly locked in! So yes. However within the time we have around a 55% escape rate. Clues are unlimited with us and we want everyone to have a good time. Common sense is more necessary than intelligence. You don’t need special skills but an understanding of written English and numbers will do.

Anyone! A complete mixture of personality, ages, sexes and nationalities play live escape rooms. Teams can be made up of friends, families, workmates, couples, tourists, anything! It is great team building and a fantastic experience to celebrate some occasion.

Whatever you want, we perhaps wouldn’t recommend swim wear but feel comfortable and we would suggest practical.

Yes you are completely safe. If you want to leave at any point you can. You are never really locked in. All rooms are monitored.

We display visual clues in our rooms and want our rooms to be inclusive for all.

Our rooms are located upstairs and we have no lift access.

We are a family run escape room and we want to encourage people of all ages to get involved. While a lot of puzzles may not be suitable for some younger children, we do think a lot of 7/8 y/olds will enjoy the experience. If you are unsure please contact us. We appreciate some children enjoy puzzles more than others and you know your child better than us. We don’t recommend under 6. If members of the team are under 16 then they must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. If you wish for a member of staff to accommodate this there will be additional charges and would need to be booked over the phone.

Yes anyone can get out at any time. Please contact us if you want further advice.

The price depends on the group size. Look out for offers and reduced rates at different times. Sign up to our mailing list to stay up to date. Keep a look out for random reduced room rates.

Each of our escape rooms have varying levels of physical activity. You won’t need your gym wear on but you may be required to bend, kneel, crawl. This may not be advisable in later months of pregnancy but get in touch with us if unsure and we can discuss all options. There might be some loud noises in the escape rooms, whilst we expect most people will be ok with this if you think it will make you anxious or uncomfortable it’s probably best to be avoided while pregnant.

We offer vouchers that can make that perfect gift! Every wondered what to buy someone?? This is a great gift and something totally different to the usual. A gift that can be enjoyed with friends or family. When you purchase a voucher you can add your own custom message and create a gift card to send if you wish. We will email you and you can edit all the options to personalise it or you can just use the code it’s as simple as that. We also hold physical gift cards that can be picked up from our venue or posted out on request.
