Beverley – Places to eat, drink and visit

Being in the town centre, Beverley Breakout Escape Rooms are closely surrounded by many food and drink establishments, and there are lots of lovely independent coffee shops and a number of restaurants and bars.

Beverley market takes place every Saturday and there is a smaller one on a Wednesday, and we are also very close to the beautiful Beverley Minster and St Mary’s Church if you are looking for some history.  There is also the famous Beverley racecourse if you fancy a trip to the races, and a host of other places to visit in and around Beverley.

Hull, the 2017 City of Culture, is only a short drive from Beverley, with excellent train and bus links too, with a number of interesting places to visit such as the Deep, which is one of the UK’s biggest and best aquariums, and plenty of museums, the thriving bars and restaurants of the Fruit Market and of course the iconic Humber Bridge. We have theatres regularly offering west end shows and other entertainment, and many more things to see and do on your visit.

We also offer deals with the ‘Minerva, TapHouse and Gin Bar’ which are all situated down on Hull’s newly revamped fruit market, great for a snack, cocktail or night out, and you can see the smallest pub room in Britain in The Minerva!

We are located with great access to York, where you can visit the ‘Shambles’ and walk the famous cobbled streets. Visit ‘The Chocolate Story’ or stop at ‘Betty’s’ for some afternoon tea. Take in the history or go on a Ghost Walk.

If you decide to travel across the iconic Humber Bridge by car,  Lincoln City is just an hours drive with its lovely Cathedral and shopping areas. You can also walk across the bridge and take in the lovely views.

Come and enjoy some family fun at Beverley Breakout Escape Rooms and then enjoy the rest that Beverley, Hull and East Yorkshire have to offer.
